i woke up to nothing and felt like doing nothing, so i called up lucas to hang out. no he called me. anyway, we went to the library to look for movies, and we came across the most unpleasant experience. an ‘altercation with old ppl’
we were just happily standing between two rows of movies, in our rather small library- then this old woman with her girdle just walks up to us and says ‘can i get through.’
luc and i back up against the shelf behind us, and caused it to shake, but she didnt go through. so she walks around the shelf and onto our other side and verbally complains ‘u guys are taking up the whole isle, i had to walk around just to get through..’
luc and i werent sure how to react to this. i thought she was kidding.. luc thought she was ‘just some old bitch.’
then she tries to get through again, and verbally complains again ‘now can i get through? i dont want to walk around again, fuck u, u assholes.’ no she didnt say the last part, but she might as well have.

then her husband interjects once she gets through ‘u know, this is for everybody, not just u two… fuckers.’ once again he did not say that last part but he might as well have.

lucas and i look at each other - obviously we’re not wanted here, just because we’re minorities.

then we just left the library with nothing, feeling unwanted..

today was a good day. aside from the encounter with the old lady, lucas and wael have made my day quite pleasant.
